8th Sept – 10th Sept, 2009
Next week is going to be killing me. On Tuesday, im going to have ECAD quiz, not a big deal. But on the next day, i have two important thing occur, first one is the ethics presentation – “Ethical Problem Solving Techniques” and the second one is Microelectronic Test II. On Thursday the next day is my problem-based lab (PBL) presentation and i have to present my FYP update to my supervisor, Mr. Muhd Arif.
Tuesday:
ECAD quiz (5%) – It covers up to Register Transfer Logic (RTL) and the nonsense CU-DU thing. I have no idea about that, i always dreaming during ECAD class.
Wednesday:
Ethic Presentation (10% perhaps) – something that i don’t really know how i’m gonna make it. I’ve done with the readings and presentation slide and i do understand well, but somehow i’m a bit unclear what is going to happen on the presentation.
Microelectronic Test II (10%) – A lot of concept and formula to be understood and memorized. Just “sit and answer” it. Currently reading Microelectronic Textbook, 40pages to go!
Thursday:
ECAD lab presentation – I did all the C programming (generate random numbers and the XOR encryption), the XOR Core (XOR encryption in VHDL) and the Avalon Bus Interface and fabric design. Now working on firmware design. Need to finish all there before going to part C, space exploration. PartC going to take most of the time, and yet we’re not going into it yet
FYP update – I promised my SV to show to him about all subblocks involved in my folding ADC drawn and simulated. The subblocks are comparator, 3bits flash ADC, folder and interpolator. OMG.
